Children are the leaders of to-morrow.  The CDM lays much emphasis on their education. In line with the United Nations Convention of the Right of the Child (UNCRC), which provides a set of universal minimum standards of entitlement for all children, activities geared towards their development are put in place.

Some of these activities include “Initiation to theatre” so as to help them develop their personalities.  Other activities include the celebration of the African Child Day, Children’s Day, Environment Day and a drawing competition for children on the theme “Environment” to make them aware of its importance.

Educational tours are regularly organised for children who have no opportunity to visit important places.  Youngsters accompany our members on visits to handicapped people, hospitals and homes to help them realise that those who are less fortunate than us should not be ignored
